WILDLIFE

Snatched up by A&R men & whisked off to London at the

tender age of 17, Steve along with his brother Chris formed Wildlife. Wildlife's 2 albums Burning & Wildlife were well crafted & received. Plagued by infrequent line up changes, (that included SO!'s Pete Jupp & Bob Skeat), and

unfortunate enough to be signed to a major record label that simply folded (Swansong). Rather than find a new deal with the band the brothers decided to try & achieve the

impossible.

The FM days seem a million miles away, but the songs still live on. Formed In 1984 following the dis-band of WILDLIFE, Steve, his brother Chris, Pete Jupp & Merv Goldsworthy attempted the impossible. Demo four tracks, do a few 'showcase' gigs and "If a deal doesn't come in 3 month's, we'll call it a day". It only took 2 showcases to get the offers rolling in. FM were born.

FM did 9 Albums in 10 years, toured with the likes of Tina Turner, Bon Jovi & Meatloaf. An achievement reflected on with pride by all of FM's members & fans.

Shows that really buzzed, songs that everyone loved (including certain 'Boy Band's, that are still trying to

purchase the ballads). Long gone are the flowing locks,

decidedly 80's clothing, 'Get Ready To Rumble' T-Shirts, video shoots in L.A. and not to be forgotten, the immortal

image of the "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" or "In The Mood" live intro's. When you heard either of those tunes, you knew you were in for a good night.
